Why become a member?

By becoming a member, you play a direct role in providing the AHC with a dependable source of funding that allows us to continue operations, take on new projects and develop innovative approaches to conservation, environmental education, research and silent sport recreation in the Algoma Highlands. It is through donations and AHC membership fees that the Conservancy’s work is possible!

Membership Benefits

Your membership is eligible for a tax receipt

Your membership shows your appreciation and support our work to protect the King Mountain formation in perpetuity

Your membership helps us keep our trails safe and open to the public, for your enjoyment.

Your membership gives you a say on how we manage our holdings by having a vote at our annual general meeting (must be 16 yrs or older and the membership card holder)

Memberships purchased in the month of October, 2025 will take effect on

January 1, 2026 and will expire on December 31, 2026. 


Issuance of tax receipts will require

full contact information (name, mailing and email address) as per Canada Revenue Agency requirements.

Memberships can also be purchased by cheque, payable to “Algoma Highlands Conservancy” and mailed to either our American or Canadian office at the addresses provided below. Please provide your full contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number and email address) to facilitate generation of your membership card. An email address assures prompt communication should a question arise, and helps conserve paper!
